Hongyang Cave: “Alas, the Yang family spent its heart's blood serving Song”
The dying general Yang Yanzhao looks back on his family's sacrifices, in erhuang manban moving into yuanban — the same play Tan Xinpei recorded a century earlier (in this catalogue). A mix of singing and accompaniment, recorded in Beijing on 18 April 2017 for a music-research corpus.
