The Goddess of the Luo: “The wind god stills the wind, the sky is clear”
From Mei Lanfang's play after Cao Zhi's rhapsody on the river goddess. The aria passes through the whole xipi sequence — daoban, manban, yuanban, erliu, kuaiban and sanban. A mix of singing and accompaniment, recorded in Beijing on 2 May 2017 for a music-research corpus.
