探皇陵：听谯楼打罢了初更时候
Visiting the Imperial Tomb: “Hear the watchtower drum the first watch of night”
The loyal old duke Xu Yanzhao keeps vigil at the late emperor's tomb, a painted-face (jing) aria moving from erhuang daoban and huilong into yuanban; the middle play of the trilogy completed by Er jin gong. Sung unaccompanied by a female jing performer; recorded in Beijing on 6 April 2017 for a music-research corpus.
